Children’s Day


“Children are the world’s most valuable resources and the best HOPE for the FUTURE”.
Every year Children’s Day is celebrated across India in the memory of our first Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru whose immense love for children is known world-wide. To make our children feel special this year the Primary Wing of RPS celebrated Children’s Day in the school campus with lot of fanfare. The birthday ceremony of Chacha Nehru began with cake cutting by Dr. Sarita V. Singh, the Principal and little stars. The students came in colourful attires. There was a medley of songs, poems, group dance & speeches. Many sports activities were held for children.
To conclude the programme, Dr. Pavitra Rao, the Chairperson of RPSGOI greeted the students and reminded them to be grateful and determined to achieve goal in life. She praised the students’ performances. Dr. Sarita V. Singh (Principal) saidthat everyone should do something for the betterment of society. Children garnered appreciation for their efforts and had a fun filled Day.
