International Tiger Day

International Tiger Day is celebrated every year to raise public awareness all over the
globe to protect and conserve the tiger. With this objective, RPS Primary Wing
celebrated International Tiger Day. As part of the students' curriculum the students
participated in a variety of events with the aim of raising awareness in regard to the
plight of India's national animal. The programme commenced with role plays, poetry and
dance performances. Dr. Pavitra Rao, the chairperson gave the message that saving
the tiger meant saving its habitat and encouraged the students to take care of their
adopted trees in order to protect the environment. Dr. Sarita V Singh , Principal
explained thatTiger is a symbol for the protection of all wild life on our earth, which plays
an important role in the health & diversity of an ecosystem.Really it was a positive
awareness event for our tiny tots.
