KRISHNA JANMOTSAV IN RPS CAMPUS (PRT WING)
On the occasion of birthday of Lord Krishna, a grand celebration “Krishna Janmotsav” was organised in the campus.
The celebration began with ‘Lighting the Lamp’ tradition. The students were flattered by the presence of eminent guests Dr. Pavitra Rao (Chairperson), Mrs. Prem Rao (from Management), Dr. Sarita V. Singh (Principal) and Mrs. Savita (Hon’ble Faculty).
Hon’be Prem Ma’am along with other guests offered ladoos & took blessings from little Krishna.
Students (mainly from Kids to 2nd) dressed up as Radha & Krishna gave a traditional touch to the entire celebration. Stage was beautifully decorated with flowers, colourful hangings and painted-matkis.
Dr. Pavitra Rao explained the cultural importance of such celebrations and further added that such celebrations glorify the Indian traditions.
The students witnessed the scintillating dance performances and speeches. Bond of friendship between Krishna and Sudama enacted in the form of song completely mesmerised the audience. “Matki fod” event marked the mischievous nature of “Bal Gopal”.
At the end Jhanki along with chanting “Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki” was undoubtedly the attraction of the day.
