The Festivities of Diwali were ushered in by the Primary Wing of RPS through Diya, Thali Decoration, Candle Making and Rangoli Making Competitions. The students took part esthusiastically in all the activities. The area was decorated with the display of the decorated diyas, rangolis incorporated around them to bring out the best. The efforts shown by students were lauded by all for the sheer spread of beauty all around. The candles made by little artists were really attractive. Dr. Pavitra Rao ,the chairperson of RPS GOI emphasized on organising such competitions time to time. She also praised the efforts of young minds. The students also showed their artistic skill by decorating thali beautifully.
Mrs. Prem Rao and Mr. Bhagwan Singh selected the Rangolis with best finishing.
Dr. Sarita V. Singh, the Principal, also encouraged the young minds. She congratulated and encouraged the winners to enhance their talent in future. Overall the events were entertaining and full of thrill. Dr. Pavitra Rao also wished every Happy Diwali. Students collectively took pledge to celebrate eco-friendly Diwali.
