Republic Day Celebration
“Freedom in Mind, Faith in words, Pride in our heart, Memories in our souls. Let’s salute the Nation on Republic Day.”
26th January 2020, a day of honour for every Indian. A day which remarks the birth of the Indian democracy, the 71st Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity & grandeur at RPS School M/Garh. The Proceeding began with the unfurling of the tricolor by the Chief Guest of the day Dr. Pavitra Rao , the Chairperson (RPSGOI). A patriotic fervour warmed up the cold winter day as it filled with the excitement of students who were enthusiastically participating. The choir group presented the patriotic song. The speeches in Hindi and English brought a sense of patriotism in the hearts and minds of all present. Some dance presentations also reinforced the value of unity and patriotism. Dr. Pavitra Rao, the Chief Guest in her address highlighted the significance of the day and made the children aware that the future of our country lies in their hands. Hence they need to study well now & inculcate good values in life which will help them to be good citizens of the country.
Our Principal, Dr. Sarita V. Singh reminded the students that the Republic Day has great significance and everyone needs to understand the laws laid in the constitution. The programme on this auspicious occasion ended with a note of a pledge by the students to work & help our country achieve greater heights.
